Becoming a Volunteer

Here at Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center, we depend on the time and efforts donated by our volunteers. If it weren't for their generosity in the form of time, many of the wonderful programs and services provided to our guests would not be possible. Volunteers vary in ages from teens to senior citizens and do everything from helping with construction projects, giving presentations, and helping with events. If you love nature - and want to help reconnect kids to the outdoors, please complete the Volunteer Form Here and send it to Selena Redmond-Goodin,

Our Board of Directors serve by the mission statement.

Board members here at Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center play a vital role in providing direction for the organization as well as planning for the future.

Board members also provide available services to the community by ensuring the services available here at Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center will continue for years to come.

If serving all children - especially those that are underrepresented in Iredell County and others across the state - to have an opportunity to enjoy and experience the wonder of nature appeals to you, we are always looking for excited, forward thinking, leaders for our board.

If you love nature and want to join us as we "Reconnect Children With Nature" - or if you would like more information - please give us a call or email today!
