Homeschool Day

Join Kizzie, the turtle dog, to learn all about the Eastern Box Turtle and their importance in our ecosystem. After the presentation, we'll have a simulated turtle hunt then learn how to measure and collect data about the turtles we find. Feel free to bring a bag lunch to enjoy after the programs. 

This program is for kindergarten-12th grade students. Please leave preschool aged children at home. 

There is a minimum registration of 10 people for this event to be held. 

We are an OUTDOOR learning center. We do have shelter from rain, but please dress appropriatley for the weather/temperatures. We recommend dressing in layers so you can stay comfortable as the day warms up. If we happen to have thunderstorms, the program may be rescheduled and/or cancelled.
